A devotional for mothers
Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty.Zechariah 4:6
The plan you keep making is to become a better version of yourself: more patient, more organized, up earlier. And every time you fall short of it you take it as evidence about who you are.
This verse rules out that whole approach. The work does not get done by you being mightier. It never was going to be.
That is not permission to stop trying. It is permission to stop believing that everything depends on how much you can hold.
One small thing
Name one thing you have been trying to fix by sheer effort. Say out loud that it is not yours alone to carry.
