Please read these. Section 3 explains what we hold about your children and what we do with it, and it is the part most people want to know about.

These Terms and Conditions are a binding agreement between you and us. They cover the Dreams website at keepersofchildhood.com, the letters and certificates you create with it, the printable photo signs, and everything else we provide there. By creating an account, or by using the service at all, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Dreams.
The Privacy Notice further down forms part of these Terms. Please read it: it is the part that explains what we hold about you and your children, and what we do with it.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Dreams is written for a parent, guardian or other adult in a household to use.
An account is for one household. You may add up to five children to it in any subscription year. You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping your password to yourself.
Children are welcome to read the folk tales and to fill in the photo signs, and Kid Safe Mode exists so you can hand over a device without the rest of the site being visible. The account itself, and everything to do with payment, remains yours.
This is the most important section, so it is written plainly.
Dreams works by letting you write a letter that names a specific child and mentions specific things about them. To do that we hold what you type: a child's first name or full name, and — if you choose to add them — their date of birth, their age, their favourite colour, food, toy, animal or television programme, the name of a friend, and any note you add. We also keep the letters themselves, including the personal detail you write into each one.
You provide all of this yourself, from your own account. We do not ask children for it and we do not collect it from them. The photo signs a child fills in are deliberately built so that what they type stays in their own browser and never reaches us.
By entering a child's information you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their parent or guardian's permission, and that you agree to us holding and using it as described in the Privacy Notice below — which includes using it to run the service, to improve it, and to tell you about things we offer.
You can view, correct, or remove any child's details at any time from your account, and you can ask us to delete all of it.
Writing letters, reading them on screen, sharing them by link, reading the folk tales and using the photo signs are free. A subscription of $4.99 per year removes the preview mark and unlocks printing, for up to five children and as many letters as you like. A new account also receives one free letter, which prints without the preview mark.
Founding families: while the offer lasts, the first 100 new subscribers pay $2.99 for their first year. It renews at the normal $4.99 per year after that, unless you cancel. The offer is one per account, and the number of places left shown on the site is the real count.
The subscription renews automatically once a year until you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the year you have already paid for, and you keep access until that year runs out. You can cancel at any time from your account.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Prices may change. If they do, we will tell you before a renewal at the new price, and you will be free to cancel.
Grow Book sync is an optional, separate subscription of $9.99 per year that keeps your Grow Book on more than one device. It renews and cancels exactly like the main subscription, and either can be held without the other.
Sync is end-to-end encrypted with a Family Key created on your device. We never receive that key and cannot reset or recover it. If every device and the key are lost, the synced copy cannot be opened by you or by us. The copy on your device and any backup file you saved are unaffected.
Turning sync off deletes the synced copy from our servers straight away. If a sync subscription ends and is not renewed, we may delete the synced copy 60 days later.
You can add a grandparent (or anyone you choose) for $4.99 per year each. They receive a private link that opens your Grow Book on their own device: they can turn the pages, hear your recordings, and leave a voice note or message on a page, which joins your book only if you approve it. While you have at least one grandparent added, Grow Book sync is included at no extra charge.
The link contains your Family Key, so anyone who has it can see your book. Send it only to the person you added. You can remove them at any time, which stops their link working and cancels that renewal. Each grandparent renews and cancels like the main subscription. If the last one ends, sync ends with it unless you also hold a sync subscription, and we may delete the synced copy 60 days later.
You can share pages from a Grow Book through a link that works for 1, 7 or 30 days. You choose the pages. Anyone with the link can see them until it expires or you stop it, and then it no longer works and we delete what was shared. Share only pages you are happy for the people you send it to, and anyone they pass it on to, to see.
You can give us the name, email address and (if you like) mobile number of your husband or partner, with your first name, your birthday (month and day only), your anniversary and your children’s birthdays, so we can remind him before those days. Only give us his details if he knows you are doing so.
We send him one email asking whether he wants the reminders. We send him nothing else unless he says yes, and we text him only if he separately agrees to texts. He can stop them at any time with one click, and once he has, we will not contact him again even if asked. You can remove him and delete his details from your account at any time.
The Dream Community is a board for Dreams members only. You join by choosing a display name; other members see that name, your picture and what you post, never your email address.
You are responsible for what you post. Share only photos of your own family, or with the other parents’ permission, and never a child’s surname, school, address or anything that shows where a child can be found. No nudity of children of any kind, including bath-time or swimwear photos; no harassment, hate, selling or advertising.
Every post and comment is checked before other members see it, by an automatic check (an AI model that reads the words and looks at the photos) and, where it is unsure, by a person. We may hold, hide or remove anything, and suspend a member, at our discretion. Members can report posts; three reports hide a post until we review it.
You keep ownership of what you post, and give us permission to show it to other members for as long as it is up. Delete a post and it, and its photos, are removed for everyone.
If Dreams is not what you expected, write to us within 30 days of payment and we will refund it in full. There is no form to fill in and we will not ask you to justify it.
The words you type are yours. The names, details and messages you put into a letter belong to you, and we claim no ownership of them.
Letters you create are yours to print, keep, frame and give to your family and friends, for as long as you like.
A letter that was printable when you made it stays printable. If your subscription ends, every letter you had already unlocked remains in your Keepsake and still prints without the preview mark — we do not take back what you have already made. What a lapsed subscription stops is unlocking NEW letters.
Your Keepsake also lets you print everything you have made for one child as a single combined book.
The artwork, the written letters and templates, the folk tales as we have retold them, the design, the software and the Dreams name belong to us or our licensors.
You may print and share what you make for your own family and friends. You may not resell our letters or artwork, present them as your own product, use them commercially, or run them through an automated process to extract the artwork or text at scale.
One account is for one household, which is why it covers five children. Accounts used to produce letters commercially, or at volume for people outside your household, may be suspended or closed.

Dreams covers folklore and faith traditions from around the world. We describe each one as the community that keeps it describes it, and we have taken particular care with religious material.
Every letter on Dreams is written by a folk figure, a helper or a symbol — a lamp, a candle, a crescent moon, a flower, a saint understood as a historical person. No deity and no prophet is ever presented as the author of a letter, quoted, or depicted in the artwork. Sacred material appears only in the explanatory sections.
We are not a religious authority and Dreams is not a source of religious instruction. If you find something here inaccurate or disrespectful, please tell us and we will correct it.
We will do our best to keep Dreams running, accurate and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we do not promise it will be free of errors.
Dreams is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim connected with Dreams is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data.
You may close your account at any time by writing to us, and we will delete it and the letters attached to it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that is used to harm someone, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right, and we will refund the unused part of a subscription unless the closure was for serious misuse.
We may update these Terms. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects your rights — particularly anything about how we use information about you or your children — we will tell you and ask you to agree again before it applies to you. Minor corrections take effect when published.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts of Collier County, Florida have jurisdiction, and you and we submit to them.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice, are the whole agreement between us about Dreams.
