A devotional for mothers
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Matthew 11:28
Weary and burdened. Not sinful, not lazy, not failing. Tired, and carrying something heavy.
That is the entire qualification. You do not have to sort yourself out first, or be in a better frame of mind, or have prayed properly this week.
Rest is not the reward for finishing. It is what is being offered in the middle.
One small thing
Sit down for five minutes without your phone before the house gets loud again.
